In 1978, our daughter, Suzanne Evans, received the Morgan gelding, Stillwater Adonis, who was very versatile. This son of Moro Hills Adonis taught us a great deal about Morgans and the wonderful qualities that lie within each and every Morgan we have known.

It was not long before Suzanne became involved with showing her gelding in 4H, Pony Club, and A rated Morgan shows here in New York. As a family we had a ball! Raising a daughter with a Morgan had some wonderful benefits for her and our entire family.

In 1988, we bought our present day farm, Brookstone Morgan Farm, located in Vestal, NY. We are south of the Finger Lakes, Ithaca, and just outside of Binghamton, NY. The Pennsylvania border is only two miles from our hill top home.

In 1988, with Suzanne at college, the goal for my husband and myself became breeding quality Morgans. We found many breeders who were delighted to share knowledge and friendship along the way. This helpful nature of Morgan owners with one another is an important part of just who this Morgan horse is.

We are now in the third generation of our program. We are pleased with our resulting foals and what they have contributed to the Morgan world. Our emphasis has always been on the mares, hoping to select stallions to complement them. We pride ourselves on the care and management of our Morgans. Horse keeping is about routine, but with an open mind to new advances in all aspects of horse care. We work with highly qualified professionals who have guided our breeding program into a successful adventure.

It is our pleasure to welcome you to our website. We hope you will enjoy the pictures of our Morgans, and possibly find the Morgan of your dreams on our sales page.

We welcome your visits to the farm by appointment and correspondence via email or phone at anytime. If we can be of any help to you in finding some of the same wonderfulness of this grand breed of horse that we did, we would be delighted to do so.
